About Cable Internet Speeds

The 125 Mbps and 300 Mbps plans are not symmetrical — download speeds are faster than upload speeds, which is standard for cable internet. Upload speeds on these plans are typically around 32 Mbps. The 10 Mbps plan is symmetrical at 10 Mbps down and 10 Mbps up. Speeds may vary based on network conditions, equipment, and Wi-Fi setup.

About Setup & Installation

The $80 setup fee covers standard installation to your condo unit. If your unit already has an active cable outlet, installation is typically straightforward and takes about an hour. We replace worn splitters and re-terminate coax ends as needed to ensure clean signal. Additional charges may apply for non-standard wiring — we'll always discuss any extra work in advance.

Frequently Asked Questions

Coverage varies quite a bit in the RV park depending on the construction of your unit. Standard RVs, metal-sided homes, and stick-built structures all behave differently. Some setups work great off the included modem's built-in Wi-Fi. Others — especially larger units, units with slide-outs or bump-outs, or metal construction — may need one or more additional access points to get solid coverage throughout. We've had situations where a single modem covered everything perfectly, and others where we installed three linked routers to get it right. We take it case by case and will work with you until it's working well.

No — you don't need to be there in person. We just need access to your RV or site. The park managers at both North and South Crescent Bar RV Park can let us in, or you can arrange access directly. We'll confirm everything is working before we leave and follow up with you.

We try to reuse existing holes and cable runs whenever possible — many units in the park already had internet before, so we can often pull the old cable and replace it cleanly. If we do need to run new cable, we'll talk with you before making any new holes. We treat your space with care and always get your approval before any modifications.

Yes. You're welcome to use your own DOCSIS 3.0 or 3.1 compatible cable modem purchased from Amazon or a retail store. You can also connect your own router to our modem. We're happy to help you confirm compatibility before you buy — just call or text us at 509-906-1250.

Most installations take about an hour. The wiring in most Crescent Bar units is in good shape — we typically just replace a few splitters and clean up the coax connections and you're online. If anything unusual comes up we'll let you know before proceeding.
