About Cable Internet Speeds

The 125 Mbps and 300 Mbps plans are not symmetrical — download speeds are faster than upload speeds, which is standard for cable internet. Upload speeds on these plans are typically around 32 Mbps. The 10 Mbps plan is symmetrical at 10 Mbps down and 10 Mbps up. Speeds may vary based on network conditions, equipment, and Wi-Fi setup.

About Setup & Installation

The $80 setup fee covers standard installation to your condo unit. If your unit already has an active cable outlet, installation is typically straightforward and takes about an hour. We replace worn splitters and re-terminate coax ends as needed to ensure clean signal. Additional charges may apply for non-standard wiring — we'll always discuss any extra work in advance.

Frequently Asked Questions

In most Crescent Bar condos, the included cable modem's built-in Wi-Fi provides reliable coverage throughout the unit. If you want stronger coverage or faster speeds at distance, an eero Wi-Fi router connected to our modem is a great upgrade — in our testing, a dedicated router like the eero typically delivers about twice the wireless speed at the same distance compared to the modem's built-in Wi-Fi. But for most units, the included modem works just fine.

No — you don't need to be there in person. We just need access to your unit. The condo managers are able to let us in, or you can arrange access through a neighbor or by leaving a key. We'll confirm everything is working before we leave and follow up with you directly.

Most units already have coax wiring in place. We typically replace worn splitters and re-terminate coax ends to ensure a clean signal — no drilling needed in most cases. If any new cabling is required we'll discuss it with you first before doing any work.

Yes. You're welcome to use your own DOCSIS 3.0 or 3.1 compatible cable modem purchased from Amazon or a retail store. You can also connect your own router to our modem. We're happy to help you confirm compatibility before you buy — just call or text us at 509-906-1250.
