DMCA Policy
Digital Millennium Copyright Act — Crescent Bar Internet, LLC

⚠️ Important: Crescent Bar Internet is an internet service provider and a passive conduit for customer traffic. We do not host, create, or control user-generated content. DMCA notices submitted to us are handled in accordance with 17 U.S.C. § 512.
Crescent Bar Internet, LLC respects the intellectual property rights of others and complies with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA). This policy describes our procedure for addressing claims of copyright infringement involving our network or services.
1. Notification of Alleged Infringement
If you believe your copyrighted work has been infringed by activity occurring through our network, you may submit a written DMCA notice to our designated agent. To be valid, your notice must include all of the following:
- A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or an authorized representative
- Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to be infringed
- Identification of the allegedly infringing material and information sufficient to locate it
- Your contact information — name, address, phone number, and email address
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law
- A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner
2. Designated DMCA Agent
All DMCA notices must be submitted to our designated agent. Notices sent to other addresses or contacts may not receive a timely response.
3. Counter-Notification
If you believe material was removed or disabled by mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notification to our designated agent. To be effective, your counter-notification must include:
- Your physical or electronic signature
- Identification of the material that was removed and its location before removal
- A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed due to mistake or misidentification
- Your name, address, and phone number
- A statement consenting to jurisdiction of the Federal District Court for the district where you reside, or any judicial district in which Crescent Bar Internet may be found if you reside outside the United States
- A statement that you will accept service of process from the person who filed the original DMCA notice or their agent
4. Repeat Infringer Policy
Crescent Bar Internet reserves the right to suspend or terminate the accounts of customers who are found to be repeat infringers of copyright, consistent with the safe harbor provisions of the DMCA (17 U.S.C. § 512(i)).
5. Recordkeeping
Crescent Bar Internet maintains IP address assignment records via DHCP reservations and network management systems to support the integrity of compliance-related investigations when required by law.
6. Amendments
This policy may be updated at any time. Amendments become effective upon posting to our website at crescent-bar.com/dmca.
