DMCA Policy

Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) Policy

Crescent Bar Internet, LLC (“Crescent Bar,” “we,” or “our”) respects the intellectual property rights of others and complies with the provisions of the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA). This policy outlines our procedure for addressing claims of copyright infringement.

1. Notification of Alleged Copyright Infringement If you believe your copyrighted work has been copied or used in a way that constitutes copyright infringement and is accessible via a service provided by Crescent Bar Internet, you may submit a written notice under the DMCA by providing our designated agent with the following information:

  • A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or someone authorized to act on their behalf.

  • Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed.

  • Identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing and information reasonably sufficient to permit us to locate the material.

  • Your contact information, including your name, address, telephone number, and email address.

  • A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.

  • A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notification is accurate and that you are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.

3. Counter Notification If you believe that material you submitted was removed or disabled by mistake or misidentification, you may file a counter notification with our DMCA Agent. To be effective, your counter-notification must include:

  • Your physical or electronic signature.

  • Identification of the material that has been removed or disabled and the location at which the material appeared before it was removed or disabled.

  • A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief that the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification.

  • Your name, address, and telephone number, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the Federal District Court for the judicial district in which your address is located, or if your address is outside the United States, for any judicial district in which Crescent Bar Internet may be found.

  • A statement that you will accept service of process from the person who provided the original DMCA notice or an agent of such person.

4. Repeat Infringer Policy Crescent Bar Internet reserves the right to terminate accounts or services of any customer found to be a repeat infringer of copyright, consistent with the standards outlined in the DMCA.

5. Recordkeeping Crescent Bar Internet maintains system logs via DHCP reservations, NMS Prime, and Greylog to track IP address assignments and support the integrity of compliance-related investigations.

6. Amendments Crescent Bar Internet may update this DMCA Policy at any time. Amendments become effective upon posting.
